Senior Software Engineer - Delta One Trading
We are seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join a Multi Strat Hedge Fund on a greenfield Delta One Trading Platform in Austin.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with traders, quants, and technology teams to architect and develop sophisticated trading systems for Delta One products.
You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from algorithmic trading strategies to trading execution, leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation and efficiency in our trading operations.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading systems for Delta One products.
- Collaborate with traders and quants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement algorithmic trading strategies, risk models, and pricing models.
- Optimize trading infrastructure for low-latency execution and high throughput.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software to ensure reliability and stability.
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in our trading systems.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Ideally 3 + years of experience working for either a prop trading shop but open to superstar engineers in Big Tech or Start Ups.
- Strong programming skills in C or C++
- Experience with distributed systems, multithreaded development, and low-latency programming techniques.
- Knowledge of financial markets and Delta One products would be beneficial.
- Strong commercial acumen, how technology affects a P&L.
