Position Overview : As the Operations Manager (Plant Manager), you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility.
Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be responsible for managing production, warehouse, maintenance, and sanitation activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise a team of production, warehouse, maintenance, and sanitation staff to achieve operational objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production processes, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity.
- Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and quality control measures to meet customer demand and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality assurance, and logistics, to coordinate production activities and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and regulatory compliance measures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork to drive operational excellence and employee engagement.
Qualifications :
- 5 plus years in a leadership role withing the food and beverage industry
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Lean Sigma Certified or experience with a continuous improvement culture.
Compensation : 125,000-190,000
