Controller

Position Overview : Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all financial and accounting activities of the company.

The Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, budget management, cost analysis, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and more.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all financial and accounting operations, including financial reporting, budget preparation, and cash flow management.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing process, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and review budgets and forecasts, and monitor variances to ensure financial goals are met.
• Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional development and performance improvement.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Stay current with accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a senior-level accounting or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership ability and experience managing a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
