Job Posting Summary

Mercy University is seeking applicants for clinical teaching opportunities in Nursing at our Bronx and Dobbs Ferry campuses.

These positions require the ability to teach clinical instruction in the generic nursing program in the following clinical areas : Fundamentals, Pediatric, Parent Child, Medical Surgical, Psychiatric, and Community Health clinical experiences.

This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking adjunct teaching opportunities who wish to teach up to two clinical courses per semester in a culturally diverse setting, when courses are available.

Course assignments are dependent upon the needs of the University each semester.

Adjunct faculty are not eligible for relocation assistance.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience :

Clinical experience required / teaching experience preferred.

Education Requirements :

A Master's Degree in Nursing is required with national certification in clinical specialty preferred.

Physical / Other Requirements :

  • Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies

Compensation is based on a semester and calculated on a semi-monthly pay cycle.

Mercy University promotes a community campus environment. As a result, employment is limited to the following states : New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

Applicants outside of those states or the USA will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible moves.
