Licensed Social Worker

River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the Fox Chapel community of Pennsylvania. We specialize in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services.

Our mission is to serve God, by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve. We are seeking a full-time Licensed Social Worker to join our team.

Your role will be to provide quality therapeutic services in a school district in Washington County, PA. As a member of the school team, you will work with school staff and administration, as well as families, for the betterment of each student What You Will Do : provide daily therapy services (individual and group sessions) to students identified as requiring school-based social work services work within IEPwriter, completing progress notes each 9 weeks provide consultation to staff on social work topics for the betterment of each student participate in district in-services and attend trainings required by the position for the safety and well-being of all follow the school district’s daily and yearly calendar for times of employment complete daily documentation maintain communication with staff and families regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success maintain a weekly schedule promote a safe and welcoming environment for students What You Will Bring : Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant school-based experience and the following credentials / skills : Licensed Social Work credential in the state of Pennsylvania excellent communication skills professional and positive work ethic desire to work in a school-based setting passion for helping students succeed in their academic goals by promoting wellness and positive mental health clearances are required Why You'll Love Us : With this being our 24th year of business, River Therapies brings a wealth of growth and passion to the therapy aspect of the greater Pittsburgh area.
