OLM Food Solutions is taking applications for an IT Systems Administrator . This is a full-time, onsite position in our Sioux Falls, SD location.
Organized, innovative, next-level customer service, & highly skilled are all traits of this valued team leader. Responsible for design, implementation, maintenance, and support of a growing corporation’s hybrid data center with multiple physical locations.
Essential Functions :
- Maintain internal system and application efficiency.
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
- Ensure the design of applications / systems allows all components to work correctly together.
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
- Make recommendations for future upgrades.
- Maintain network and system security.
- Analyzing system logs, identifying potential issues with systems, and implementing improvements.
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
- Evaluate and modify the system's performance.
- Identify user needs.
- Maintain the integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN / WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
- Design and deploy networks.
- Perform network address assignment.
- Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
- Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers and printers.
- Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, SSL certs, intrusion detection systems.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates, and patches.
- Network security using internal and external services (e.g., penetration & vulnerability scanning)
