Location - Dallas

Salary - $100k to $120k - Commensurate with experience - plus Bonuses

The role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Development Manager to join our team.

The Program Development Manager is to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive 3PL Agent Program for 3PL owners.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing others and a strong background in business development, training, marketing, and sales strategies.

Responsibilities :

  • Program Development : Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of strategic programs to address key challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities in the freight forwarding sector.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities for innovation and expansion.
  • Client Engagement : Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Process Improvement : Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes and workflows, and develop and implement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Strategic Partnerships : Build and nurture strategic partnerships with industry players, technology providers, and other relevant stakeholders to leverage complementary strengths and drive mutual business growth.
  • Performance Measurement : Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and success of program initiatives, and regularly monitor and evaluate performance against targets.
  • Team Leadership : Provide leadership, guidance, and support to cross-functional teams involved in program development and implementation, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work culture.
  • Budget Management : Develop and manage budgets for program initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, business development, or strategic planning within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
