You’ll be : *Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival, preps rooms & assists with conflicts of conference rooms.
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or over the phone, answering or referring inquiries. Be diligent of immediate surroundings, confirm only Valeant employees pass by main reception desk;
- all others sign in. Directs visitors by maintaining employee & dept directories; giving instructions. Maintains security by following procedures;
monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges; input visitor information into security system. Addresses heavy load of phone calls & transferring to appropriate extensions.
Maintains safe & clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, including FDA procedures. Meet & manage the requests of deliveries at front desk.
Works with other departments to keep updated spreadsheets of corp phone numbers & contacts. Work with VIPs to allow managed flow of their guests & visitors.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting & communicating actions, irregularities & continuing needs. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Greet telephone & verbal communication skills. Prior experience as Receptionist or dealing with guests & heavy phone lines.
Microsoft office Proficient. Listening, professionalism, customer focus, organization. Remains calm under pressure.
