VMware VDI/ Horizon view Engineer
Job Title : VMware VDI / Horizon view Engineer
Duration : FTE / Permanent Hiring
Location : Irving, TX ( Local Only )
Description :
- Support and manage VMware Horizon View (VDI) infrastructure
- Responsible for analysis, administration and support of VMWare Horizon View VDI
- Provisions servers including : adding, allocating and managing vDisks for end-user devices
- VMware AppVolumes Administration support
- ppStack build, Packages Installation and maintenance
- Develop scripts to automate the monitoring of VDI environment
- Responds to End User requests for technical support and assistance within established procedures
- Desktop Pool build and maintenance
- Manage and troubleshoot migration of Citrix XenDesktop environment to Horizon environment will be added advantage
- Knowledge in ITIL tools like Remedy, etc.
- Knowledge in ITIL processes like Incident management, Change management, etc.
- Day to day administration of L1 / L2 BAU tasks
- Coordinating with different stakeholders and work with offshore teams. Perform RCA for Major Incidents.
Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
