Job Title : Senior Product Manager - Drives

What you’ll do :
As a Senior Product Manager , you will manage an offering of low voltage variable frequency drives, consisting of Standard Class drives , as well as high horsepower general purpose drives.
The position is highly focused on driving growth, managing the product roadmap and strategic plans, providing direction to a global team of development engineers and marketing teams, and developing and maintaining technical literature and sales tools.
You will also create value propositions via a thorough understanding of customer needs, by following marketing trends, and monitoring our competition.
In this role, you will :
- Be the marketing lead for new product development programs and key customer conversions
- Identify unmet customer value opportunities and create innovative solutions leveraging data and digital capabilities
- Develop and manage the product line strategic plan and the product line roadmap
- Achieve profit plan financials for sales and margin
- Develop and maintain technical and commercial literature
- Manage product line sales E-Tools support (Bid Manager, VISTA, etc.) to continuously improve product selection and quotation
- Provide direction to a global team of development engineers for product line support and maintenance
- Partner with the channel and sales of the organization to drive effective distributor programs
- Acquire knowledge of competitive products and go-to-market strategies
- Assist and participate in the preparation of operational reports outs including monthly sales forecasts
- Direct / take action with all internal operating areas as required to meet customer commitments and the operating objectives of the business
- Represent the product line at conferences, tradeshows, and sales events
Required (Basic) Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three years of professional experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three years of experience in marketing or sales with low voltage variable frequency drives products or motor control
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and apply systems thinking to resolve complex challenges
- Experience with digital products, recurring revenue models, and / or Customer Success
- Customer-facing experience in a technical or sales capacity, with proven communication and issue-resolution skills
