Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Manages all 2nd shift functions related to the physical shipping and receiving of inventory to ensure that all records are accurately maintained, inventory properly controlled, and orders filled in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Develops and recommends performance standards and targets for designated area(s).
  • Develops shipping, receiving and quality process recommendations to ensure maximum efficiencies are gained and performance standards are met.
  • Ensures outbound carrier schedules and appointments are coordinated to meet targeted time frames.
  • Ensures customer compliance requirements are adhered to for all outbound shipments.
  • Provides reporting, performs analysis, and makes recommendations to Manager related to performance of designated area and implements improvements.
  • Manages administrative functions related to shipping, receiving, inventory and other tasks as assigned.
  • Participates in the development, actively supports, and executes safety, security, and facility maintenance programs.
  • Ensures the effective use of warehouse management systems to maximize efficient use of labor, and meet shipping, inventory, and customer service goals.
  • Makes recommendations for the continuous improvement of the system's utilization.
  • Ensures team is trained and utilizes Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001-2000) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
  • Ensures systems are continually improving.
  • Participates in third party audits of the systems.
  • Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group / department personnel.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problem issues ( that require escalation).
  • Manages and leverages relationships with vendors for a specific product / service (best price, best product, etc).

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $70,000 and $95,000. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels.

The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as : training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.

The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
