Schneider Downs is searching for a dynamic Business Advisory market practice leader to join our growing Consulting practice.
This individual will bring their diverse experience and proven track record of driving growth of Litigation Support, Forensics and Valuations services, and the ideal candidate will reside within the Columbus, Ohio market.
As our Columbus market practice leader,the Business Advisory Director Litigation Support, Forensics & Valuation will maintain relationships with a diverse client base in various industries and assist firm leadership in identifying new opportunities and assist in acquiring new relationships.
We work with a wide array of companies ranging from large multi-national public registrants to privately held organizations across various sectors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and help execute a strategy to grow the firm’s litigation support, forensics and valuation service lines
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with the goal of acquiring new clients and revenue for the firm
- Lead the delivery of forensic accounting, as well as financial and economic damages analyses
- Provide expert witness testimony in complex litigation and forensic accounting matters when needed
- Collaborate with clients, attorneys and other stakeholders to provide expert advice and insights on complex and unique financial issues, transactions and disputes
- Provide thought leadership by developing content, conducting webinars and public speaking on relevant topics
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
- Manage client engagement staffing, billings and collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met
- Coach, motivate and develop team members, by providing feedback, mentoring and career development opportunities
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in litigation support services, including forensic accounting, financial analysis, expert testimony and consulting services
- Prior experience in providing expert testimony in Federal and State Court and / or Arbitration proceedings
- A combination of CPA, ABV, CFF, CFE and / or CFA credentials
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams of consultants and analysts
- Proven track record of success in business development and building a profitable practice
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to grow a practice
- Ability to work collaboratively with our team of experts and build lasting relationships with clients and their attorneys
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
