Customer Service Representative – Pharmacy Support Location Cary, NC | Onsite Compensation & Schedule

• $20.40 / hour
• Monday – Friday, 11 : 30 AM – 8 : 00 PM ROLE IMPACT : This position plays a critical role in enhancing patient experience by serving as the first point of contact for non-clinical inquiries related to prescriptions, insurance, and payment. You’ll support timely and accurate medication delivery while providing clear, courteous communication in a fast-paced call center environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to high-volume inbound and outbound calls to coordinate prescription deliveries, billing, and status updates
• Route customer inquiries to appropriate clinical or operations staff, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution
• Update electronic systems with accurate notes and status for cross-functional visibility
• Handle insurance verification, invoice requests, and refill processing using internal platforms
• Report adverse events and product complaints to clinicians to support patient safety MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume call center environment
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
