Senior Auditor

Senior Auditor $45.70 / hour Includes 10 paid holidays & 56 hours paid sick leave*Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a senior auditor on a government contract with our customer in Washington, DC.

This assignment should last approximately six months and could be extended.*Duties and Responsibilities : Planning and performing compliance audits in accordance with applicable audit standards.

• Preparing clear and concise audit workpapers, reports, and other communications to document the audit procedures performed and exceptions identified.
• Communicating audit status and results via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to the auditee and our customer's management.
• Reviewing and providing feedback on work paper documentation.* Providing assistance in the completion of audit efforts for whistleblower investigations.
• Performing project management duties over individual workload.* Pursuing professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information with co-workers to contribute to the growth and development of the Audit and Assurance Division.

this would NOT include tax or IT auditing* Other Desired Experience : Telecommunications Industry; Microsoft Office, regulatory*Education Required : Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) desired.*Length of Experience Required : *The minimum amount of total work-related experience required is five (5) years, forthe position.

This means experience in a related area or time spent performing similarwork that provides the background for the current position.
