PTC TCI - Transportation Construction Inspector

PRIME AE Group (www.primeeng.com), a well-established and emerging multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm with 19 office locations and over 475 employees within the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast Regions, is looking to add Transportation Construction Inspectors to our existing CM / CI team for Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission highway / structure projects from MP 200 to the Delaware River Bridge and MP A20 to A131.

• NICET Certification is strongly desired.

Anyone with any level of highway / structure construction inspection experience (TCI) with certifications or a Civil Engineering Degree are encouraged to apply.

The inspector will need to :

• Follow Specification 408, RC, BC, TC, and other standards.
• Review project plans.
• Review contract schedules.
• Complete Individual Daily Reports (IDR's) and other needed project documentation at the end of each day utilizing an iPad.
• Prepare work orders and estimates as per the Commission Operations Manuel (COM).
• Have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record required.

These positions may include construction inspection for concrete or asphalt roadways, structures, drainage systems, guide rail, MPT, and E&S components.

Required certifications or experience includes any combination of the following :

• NICET
• NECEPT Concrete
• NECEPT Asphalt
• IPAD / Kahua
• Nuclear Gauge Certification
