Description
This position will gather information and dataregarding the volunteer network across the State of Arizona’s State HealthInsurance Assistance Program (SHIP) Network.
The position will work closelywith the Client to garner insight on the program's strengths, weaknesses,opportunities and gaps.
The position will engage regional coordinators andcurrent volunteers in interviews and / or focus groups to identify best practicesfor volunteer recruitment, retention, engagement and management from nationwidestate SHIPs.
The position will work primarily independently with limitedsupervision, and regular check-ins and meetings with the supervisor.
A computerand two monitors will be supplied, and secure fob / software for utilization onpersonal telephone for work related communications.
Individual will needhigh-speed Internet access. The position will follow the established work planto achieve the goals and objectives outlined and execute duties and tasks in atimely manner, within the timeframe allotted.
The position will identify,develop and create templates, graphics and other deliverables as identified inthe work plan in cooperation with program partners and Client, as needed.
Theposition's work location is primarily the candidate’s home, however, there willbe limited travel statewide, and they may be required to periodically come intothe office for consultation or meetings.
Skills Required
- Oral and written communication (includingpublic speaking and creating formal presentations).
- Knowledge and experience with groupfacilitation.
- Knowledge and experience with research andevaluation of best practices.
- Compiling, analyzing and interpreting variousguidance, reports and data as gathered.
- The utilization of the Google Suite (i.e. Docs,Sheets, Slides, Forms), Google Meets / Zoom meetings.
- Problem solving, critical thinking and decisionmaking.

- Knowledge on developing a strategic plan.

g., writingprocedures, managing the day-to-day operations / activities of a project,tracking projects, preparing and making formal presentations to partners,management, etc.
and experience with investigation, document preparation andformulating resolutions to identify gaps or issues. Experience of knowledge ofthe SHIP program is preferred, but not required.

Additional Information The position's work location is primarily the candidate’shome, however, there will be limited travel statewide, but candidate will notbe driving- they will be a passenger while a state employee drives, and theymay be required to periodically come into the office for consultation ormeetings.
