- Partners with the restaurant manager - (AOR) in restaurant capability, call backs and appropriate follow-up for orders.
- Follow-up with guest to ensure Portillo’s is meeting and exceeding their expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing catering guests, serving as the primary point of contact for catering related matters.

- Negotiate catering contracts with potential guests,
- Drive catering and delivery business for territory restaurants within by cold calling, utilizing business lists, and canvassing.
- Achieve weekly business development activities goals which includes canvassing to B2B guest, email follow-up on visits, food tastings, and lapse user check-ins through email, calls, and visits.
- Support catering coordinators with large catering guest first time purchase to build a strong relationship with guest.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards and follow all applicable traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with guests in our Portillo’s CRM system.

- Identify and forge strategic partnerships with other businesses, organizations, and institutions to expand the catering client base.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new catering opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential guests and promote catering opportunities.
- Asks for the business-ensures we are actively pursuing all opportunities to drive catering orders with B2B guest.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the New Business Development Manager. The Catering Partnership Specialist interacts with the Off-Premise team, as well as Operations, Field Management at various levels, Accounting / Finance, Marketing, and Information Technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Level / Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree with Marketing / Sales focus or 2 years’ experience in sales environment
Work Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Preferred experience in QSR, food delivery, technology, customer experience, e-commerce, or related industry.
- Strong communications skills : ability to effectively communicate information and contribute innovative ideas in written and verbal format.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Professional, and internet browser software is required.
- Experience in Microsoft Teams and Asana.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Travel Requirement
Occasional travel may be required 75%.
