Software Developer

HarmonyTech Inc is seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Developer at HarmonyTech, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing the implementation of software and hardware-based business solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in solution development, combining commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or government off-the-shelf (GOTS) products, and extending their functionalities to meet the specified technical and functional requirements.

The position is available in Washington, DC, requires a Public Trust Clearance, and U.S. citizenship. Responsibilities : Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to understand and implement overall functional and technical specifications.

Combine one or more COTS or GOTS products, or extend their standard functionalities to develop comprehensive business solutions.

Develop custom services, components, or modules using advanced programming languages such as J2EE, .NET, Active Server Pages, or C++.

Assess, plan, design, develop, test, configure, and deploy technical solutions that effectively address business challenges.

Translate architectural designs into functional business solutions, leveraging skills in systems design, development, process automation, and technical knowledge.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure HarmonyTech remains at the forefront of innovation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of software and hardware components. Provide technical expertise and support during all phases of the software development life cycle.

Troubleshoot and debug software applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Skills and Qualifications : Proficiency in advanced programming languages such as J2EE, .

NET, Active Server Pages, or C++. Strong understanding of systems design, development, and process automation. Experience with integrating and extending COTS or GOTS products.

Proven ability to translate architectural designs into functional business solutions. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required Experience : Minimum of six (6) years of relevant solution development experience. Required Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
