Principal Software Engineer
Immediate need for a talented Principal Software Engineer . This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Phoenix, AZ(Onsite) .

Pay Range : $70 - $75 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.
Key Responsibilities :
- Commitment to be onsite 40 hours a week to perform troubleshooting in the avionics lab.
- Ability to design experiments on HW / SW systems to determine root cause of customer reported issues.
- Extensive experience analyzing low level C code and debugging device drivers.
- Experience with hardware boot or low level i / o preferred.
- Experienced with using debuggers within embedded operating systems.
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications / operating systems. Also, coordinates work teams.
- Provides technical support to project team members.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- May provide consultation on complex projects and is the top-level contributor / specialist.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- May report to an executive or a manager.
