This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional,looking for the next step in their career. As a Staff Electrical Engineer ,you will be responsible for :
- Create PCB design requirements andspecifications with input from other engineering teams.
- Own PCB schematic designs and drive boardlayout, assembly, and testing.
- Create and execute verification plans writtenfor board designs.
- Participate in design integration activitieswith cross-functional engineering teams.
- Hold and attend detailed design reviews for PCBdesigns.
Required education and skills to have for the success ofthis role :
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computerengineering
- 5+ years of experience with high-speed and / oranalog PCB design.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience designing analog and digital circuits.
- Familiarity with schematic capture tools (MentorGraphics preferred) and PCB layout tools (Cadence Allegro or similar).
- Experience with board stack-up, layout requirements,and layout constraints.
- Familiarity with EMI / EMC design best practices.
- Filter design and signal processing experienceis highly desirable.
- Ability to apply basic scientific reasoning toresolve technical problems.
- Medical device design experience and basicunderstanding of regulatory requirements for medical device design control andmanufacturing is preferred.
- Willing to travel for off-site support 5%.
The pay range for this position is $160,000 - $210,000 annually;however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
The annual incentive target is 15% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety ofhealth and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
