We're searching for a seasoned and strategic leader to join our growing organization as our Manager / Director of Site Reliability & Release Engineering.

You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our production infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security.

You'll also champion the development and implementation of robust release automation pipelines, driving continuous optimization across the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a talented team of SREs and Release Engineers globally, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented culture.
• Develop and implement the technical vision and strategy for our production infrastructure, encompassing Linux systems, AWS cloud platform, and distributed systems.
• Architect, build, and maintain robust release automation pipelines leveraging industry-leading CI / CD tools and best practices.
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on performance optimization, automation, and cost-effectiveness for our infrastructure and release processes.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and security teams to ensure seamless deployments and high-quality releases.
• Champion proactive monitoring and incident response, ensuring rapid resolution of production issues and minimal downtime.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in SRE, Release Engineering, cloud computing (AWS), and security best practices.
• Cultivate strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead, influence, and build trust across diverse teams.
• Translate business objectives into actionable technical plans, demonstrating strategic thinking and a data-driven approach.

Qualifications :

• Proven track record of leading and mentoring a high-performing engineering team in a global setting.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems administration and scripting (e.g., Bash, Shell).
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud platform services, including security best practices.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and their associated challenges.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining release automation pipelines using industry-standard CI / CD tools.
• Strong proficiency in Java and / or Node.js.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and data-driven approach.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to foster collaboration across teams and influence stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business goals into actionable technical plans.

Bonus Points :

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile development environment.
