Network Engineer - Radio (Charlotte, NC)
Network Engineer Radio (Charlotte, NC) We are looking for a Network Engineer for our enterprise communications and service client.
Resources need to have excellent technical competence with 5G, SW, HW Feature testing / TOL execution, Troubleshooting, and knowledge of performance KPIs / RF.
This is an 18-month contract role initially, 40 hours / week, in Charlotte, NC. This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions.
Health benefits and 401K are offered. RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Craft and document test cases by studying functionality and analyzing requirements and specifications.
- Conduct testing, record test case results, and solve, document, and track defects.
- Analyze test results and generate feature test reports.
- Perform lab and field configuration related to feature testing.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports, driving and participating in knowledge-sharing activities.
- Lead test activities, mentor new team members, and collect and document customer requirements.
- Assist in developing service proposals and identify add-on sales opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Telecom Industry, ideally in the Radio Domain.
- Proficiency in testing various features including 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, LAA, 4G LTE, IOT, CBRS, and / or multi-vendor environments.
- Background in communications theory and digital signal processing, with Linux knowledge and data analysis skills.
- Coding and scripting proficiency in Java, C, and C++, with optional skills in Python, R scripting, and database access scripting (., SQL).
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal competencies including problem-solving, teamwork, effective communication, customer interface skills, and flexibility.
- Ability to work independently, manage project and customer expectations, and coordinate activities with various Ericsson departments, divisions, and companies.
