CIVIL LITIGATION LEGAL SECRETARY

Legal Secretary with civil litigation experience needed for a high-profile law firm in the Sacramento area. This is a critical role supporting a busy managing partner.

Responsibilities include :

Prepare and File Legal Documents : Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other court filings.

Organize and maintain legal files and documents related to civil litigation cases.

Calendar Management : Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys.

Client Communication : Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.

Legal Research : Conduct legal research as needed to support ongoing cases.

Qualifications :

Minimum of three years of recent legal secretary experience in civil defense-based litigation.

Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Meticulous attention to detail when handling legal documents.

Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range : $33 to $35 per hour

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
