We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. HR Manager duties will involve managing activities such as employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management along with recruiting when needed.

While promoting our core values and helping to shape a positive work culture within the company. This position is full time in office with the ability to travel between our Sandusky and Westlake office.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions :

  • Liaison from onboarding to offboarding, interviewing, recruiting.
  • Maintain full functionality of the HRIS system which includes, payroll, time / attendance, benefit administration, performance management software.
  • Administer and manager HR related vendors such as insurance brokers, workers compensation, legal counsel, unemployment and HRIS.
  • Maintain and execute performance management within internal practices.
  • Maintain internal reporting compliance.
  • Develop and / or assist in administration of programs to improve the employee experience.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, improvement, and administration of employee policies and procedures.
  • Process and manager benefit programs (FMLA, STD, and Workers Comp) for all employees.
  • Conduct internal investigations and report findings
  • Assist in the coordination and administration of various training programs for employees
  • Track and report HR metrics (absenteeism, turnover, labor hours, payroll).
  • Lead implementation of new systems
  • Experience managing people
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required Education, Skills & Abilities :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
  • Up to date with HR best practices and current regulations
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Google Docs, and advanced HRIS skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
