What you will be doing :

• Provides 24 hour leadership and accountability for the clinical practice and operational functions for case management. Ensures quality services for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients by collaborating intra / interdepartmentally with staff, colleagues, administration, physicians and others.
• Effectively manages materiel, fiscal and human resources. Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory / accrediting body requirements;

and professional practice standards.

• Provides leadership for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of safe, cost-effective care delivered within the case management department.
• Develops and supervises the case management staff.
• Collaborates, communicates and maintains effective relationships with staff, physicians, other healthcare providers and colleagues, and the community.
• Prepares, monitors and responds to variances in the operating and capital budgets.
• Integrates best practices in the delivery of case management services.
• Participates in local, state and national professional organizations.
• Participates in hospital activities and represents the hospital in delegated functions.
• Participates in staff meetings, education programs, committees, QI activities and mandatory inservices.
• Other responsibilities of a Director Case Management as well.

Requirements

What they are looking for :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Current licensure to practice professional Nursing in the State of Ohio.
• Three to five year's experience in a hospital setting.
• Previous management / supervisory experience.
• Current certification as a Case Management Administrator preferred.

Benefits

Hours and compensation potential :

• Position is full time day shift(primarily 8am-5pm).
• Range is between $85K-$130K depending on experience and a full benefit package.
