Certified Public Accountant
We are looking for an experienced CertifiedPublic Accountant to join our accounting department. Youll beresponsible for preparing reviewing and analyzing financial reportsfor our company.
Our ideal candidate has anindepth knowledge of bookkeeping auditing and budgeting procedures.You should also be able to monitor daily transactions and recommendways we can improve our financial health.
Previous work experiencealong with a degree in Accounting and a CPA qualification isrequired for this role.
Ultimately you willplay a vital role in our companys financial operations ensuringcompliance with the law and accuracy in accounting
Responsibilities
- Organize and update financial recordsas needed (digital and physical)
- Analyzetransactions and prepare reports
- Performregular detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documentsexpenditures and investments
- Forecast revenueand analyze profit margins
- Oversee ledgerreconciliation and manage accountspayable / receivable
- Participate in budgetingprocesses
- Brief senior managers regularly onthe companys financial status
- Liaise with TaxAccountants to track tax payments andreturns
- Monitor bookkeeping activitiesregularly
- Keep company financial informationconfidential
- Establish accounting policies andprocedures
- Stay informed on industrydevelopments and changes inregulations
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a CertifiedPublic Accountant or Senior Accountant
- Thoroughknowledge of accounting and financialprocedures
- Understanding of Generally AcceptedAccounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experienced withaccounting software like FreshBooks andZoho
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiaritywith formulas VLOOKUPs and pivottables)
- Excellent analytical skills with anattention to detail
- Integrity with an abilityto handle confidential information
- BSc degreein Accounting or Finance and a CPAcertification
