Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Job Description
- Maintain a database of clinical study participants.Document all communication with participants for reference.
- Interact professionally and directly with a wide range of study participants via phone, email, text and in person.
- Utilize database to screen and schedule visits of current / new potential clinical study participants based on study eligibility for participation in ongoing clinical studies based on specified inclusion and exclusion criteria.
- Serve as front desk personnel when participants are coming in the lab which includes : Checking participants in for their appointments.
Providing reminder calls for participant appointments as needed.Having new participants fill out eligibility screening paperwork.
Giving all study participants initial study documentation, reviewing these documents for questions and final qualification determination.
Providing participants with payment documentation.
- Coordinate with laboratory's study management staff to ensure adequate study participant recruitment has been / is currently being met for each study.
- Assist with marketing and advertising efforts as needed.Skill and familiarity with social media.Develop outreach efforts related to attracting and bring in new potential clinical study participants to fill current participant recruitment needs.
Cold-call and cold-visit locations in order to speak with potential participants.Submit needed advertising materials to the IRB for approval.
- Conduct all procedures in accordance with GCP regulations, HIPAA requirements and ECRLNC SOPs
- Willing to learn and assist in other departments when necessary.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
The ideal candidate would possess :
- Database experience is not required but is a plus
- Professional, knowledgeable, confident, and friendly demeanor. Must have a neat, clean appearance and a customer-friendly personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and a willingness to meet daily commitments with a widely varying workload
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (optional)
