- Maintains operations of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and perform system administration
- Team is responsible for monitoring and correcting system performance issues, backing up and restoring files, patching system and operating system software, maintaining software licenses and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management
- Assist the IA team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues / incidents
- Document concepts and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 9 years of experience, or 7 with an advanced degree
- Must have Active Secret clearance, SCI eligible (preferred)
- Adept with RedHat Linux and database administrator experience preferably with PostgreSQL, MySQL and / or MongoDB
- Exposure to Microsoft Windows
- Awareness of IBM AIX
- Knowledge / experience with CI / CD pipeline systems, virtualization, and software environment development
- Ability to do patching, upgrades, configurations, backups, restores, indexing, scripting in Python / PowerShell
