Welding Inspector
Role : CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)
Location : Augusta, Maine
Salary : $90K (negotiable DOE)

We have a fantastic opportunity at a local long-standing, steelwork / manufacturing contractor. They are currently looking for a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector).
They are looking for strong experience in industrial inspections.
Job Description :
- Conduct inspections of materials and finished products, including receiving, in-process, and final inspection
- Report and handle non-conforming products or activities according to company procedures
- Assist in maintaining logs for shop fabrication welders
- Maintain the calibration of QC measuring equipment
- Perform spot checks on material identification procedures
- Conduct inspections and testing for ASME Code Work when required
What you’ll need :
- 2 years inspecting structural steel
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI certificate is required)
