Epic Analyst - ClinDoc - Full-Time

We are currently seeking Epic Analysts who are experienced in the ClinDoc setting to assist with planning, analyzing, designing, implementing tests and maintaining Epic software applications for our upcoming Perinatal Mental Health Unit (PMHU) .

Candidates will collaborate with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develop and modify procedures to solve complex data processing problems and prepare detailed specifications from which programs are written.

Requirements :

• Experience in Epic Clinical Documentation is preferred.
• Prior Behavioral Health module install experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology, Nursing, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• If applicable, must have necessary clinical licensure required by the State of Louisiana.
• Applicable Epic certification highly desirable.
• Experience in clinical and / or financial applications within a healthcare / physician practice environment preferred OR - years of relevant clinical, business or technical experience.
• Must have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to build relationships across the organization.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are also required.

Responsibilities :

• Acts as the primary support contact for the application's end-users.
• Identifies issues that arise in own application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and works to resolve them.
• Guides workflow design, builds and tests the system, and analyzes other technical issues associated with Epic software.
• Identifies and implements requested changes to the system.
