Community Services Supervisor (Onsite)
Supervise daily custodial activities within assigned housing units. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.
This position will interact on a regular basis with other custodial staff, trades staff foremen, residents, and other Housing administration staff.
This position typically will advise and counsel custodial staff. This position will supervise assigned staff.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Tour buildings, monitor work activities, and interact with employees to ensure adequate service delivery.
Job Duty 2 -
Manage work orders. Provide that work orders are appropriately annotated and addressed in a timely manner.
Job Duty 3 -
Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
Job Duty 4 -
Interact with residents, resident life staff, directors and administrators, and other housing staff regarding service delivery.
Job Duty 5 -
Select, train, monitor, and evaluate services of community services staff.
Job Duty 6 -
Supervise special projects and temporary workers during the summer months.
Job Duty 7 -
Perform requisition and inventory of equipment and supplies responsibilities.
Job Duty 8 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma
Required Experience
Three to five years of job-related experience
Proposed Salary
Pay Range : $20.68-$28.12 / hr.
Job Grade : C7
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS
This job requires a working knowledge of custodial service processes and practices required within a residential building complex.
Skills in supervision, customer service, communications, and the use of basic office computer applications are required.
