Position description :
- Maintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
- Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
- Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products.
- Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
- Performs Oracle, SQL Server, SYBASE, and other DBMS Database and Application server administration.
- Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.
- Requires Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Qualifications
Requires 8 to 10 years with BS / BA or 6 to 8 years with MS / MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD. Additional 4 years experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Required Qualifications :
- Proficient in Oracle RDBMS, including 12c and 19c. Significant experience managing Oracle streams, text, multimedia, spatial.
- Active TS clearance with ability to obtain a SCI and a polygraph
- Proficient with Oracle PL / SQL
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat, Java
- Experience with Linux (CENTOS, RHEL)
- Active CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.
Desired Qualifications :
- IC experience
- Experience with system accreditation process
- DIA experience is desired

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
