This is a full time position. The required schedule is Monday 8am 7pmTuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday 8am 4pm; this schedule is subjectto change.
The pay rate is $17.00$19.00 / hour.

Essential JobQualifications :

- Anorganized responsible detailoriented individual who is accountablefor taking in new patients and ensuring all of their appointmentsare appropriately scheduled authorizations / Reevaluations receivedand copays collected to ensure payment.
- A confident good listener who communicates the value ofphysical therapy and actively grows the business by looking for andrecognizing opportunities to initiate and obtainreferrals.
- Maintain a safe andclean working environment by complying with procedures rules andregulations.
- Provide equipment andsupplies by disinfecting and delivering equipment and supplies totreatment area; position equipment for therapist access;
interactwith patients and ensures their comfort.
- Maintain therapy supplies inventory by checking stock todetermine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; place andexpedite orders for supplies from approved vendor list; verifyreceipt of supplies.
- Assistclinicians by preparing hot packs and helping to setup exerciseequipment as needed.
Assigned Responsibilities orDuties :
- Greeting all patients and directing them toappropriate area or staff.
- Operating a central telephone console or multiline systemto receive and route calls.
- Dailyduties include scheduling appointments and initial evaluationstaking initial intake information typing faxing documentselectronically
- Collectingcopayments and wellness store purchases calling patients who havemissed appointments
- Assistingtherapists with laundry escorting patients into gym making surepatients are comfortable.
- Set upand clean up for patient sessions.
- Asking questions to determine the customers needs anddirecting customers / visitors to the appropriatestaff.
Administrative duties toinclude :
Calling insurance companies to verify benefitsand request authorizations printing of medical records as requestedwelcome letters to new patients and MDs thank you letters to MDsupdating physicians and new patients in the referral databaserunning frequency reports weekly in the scheduler and any othertasks assigned to he / she by thedirector.
This position may requireexperience :
- Operating a multiline telephonesystem
- Accessing data using acomputerized records system
- Makingchange and cashiering
- Seating forlong periods of time and lifting up to 30pounds.
