We are searching for a Marketing Manager (MUST HAVE LIFE SCIENCES INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE) to join our team in California. This person will have experience in executing and overseeing regional marketing initiatives.

This person will be responsible for collaborating closely with the California-based business team, this role is vital in driving local events, initiatives, and campaigns that make a significant impact.

From building brand awareness to generating leads, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, scientific environment and wants to see initiatives through from inception to completion.

Applicants must already reside in California. Applicants must have a life-sciences background.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Lead the creation and execution of impactful global and regional multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with scientific leaders to develop compelling content for scientific marketing collateral.
  • Translate complex scientific content into clear messaging across multiple disciplines.
  • Coordinate the planning, promotion, and execution of webinars.
  • Analyze website analytics and trends, devising strategies to boost traffic to service pages.
  • Innovate new formats for PowerPoint slides to promote our services.
  • Manage our marketing presence at scientific conferences and networking events, overseeing team attendance and logistics.
  • Collaborate with team members, external agencies, and vendors across the UK, EU, US, and China.
  • Work closely with California-based business development team members to drive lead generation, attend local networking events, and support marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, demonstrating a track record of progressive growth and success in the life sciences sector.
  • Bachelor's in Marketing or related degree
  • Experience in life sciences industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization, including diverse cultures and nationalities.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience in executing marketing campaigns, email marketing, and social media.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, Pardot, and SalesForce.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • A positive, collaborative spirit suitable for a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate in ambiguous situations, relying on both intuition and rational thinking.
  • Strong process orientation, with a commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to travel to San Diego and San Francisco for monthly meetings.
  • Must reside in California.
