Grant Writer
CARESTL HEALTH is a Non for Profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving St. Louis communities and school - based operations.
Position Summary :
The Grant Writer is responsible to research and write proposals in response to approved RFP's in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and core values.
Essential Functions :
- Write and edit proposal and concept papers in response to RFPs.
- Research funding opportunities (e.g. monitor websites and other media outlets for relevant RFPs).
- Manage a calendar of RFP deadlines.
- Research demographic and other quantitative information in support of proposals.
- Coordinate timely submissions of proposals
Education :
BA, BS required with preferred course work in Business, Finance, Accounting and / or Marketing.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years' experience in government grant-writing in a nonprofit environment and demonstrated record of success in securing government grants preferred.
Familiarity with City, State, and Federal funding sources.
Additional Information :
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
