Internal Communications Manager
School District 49 is actively seeking an Internal Communications Manager. The internal communications manager will work with the communications department and people and culture team to engage the workforce by managing and delivering an effective internal communications strategy.
The successful candidate will use a combination of communication channels and techniques, to create missional and cultural clarity for all segments of the workforce, helping to make District 49 the best choice to work.
The internal communications manager must have strong writing and editing skills to create materials and organize events to inform employees about strategic initiatives, Board of Education policies, and applicable federal and state regulations.
The position requires strong planning skills to organize events meeting the same objectives, engaging employees together to bolster work performance.
This position is based at D49's Education Service Center located at 10850 E. Woodmen Road, 80831.
Calendar : Full Year - 260 days
Reports to : Director of Communications
Rate of pay : Professional Technical Range 3. Starting pay is $67,236 per year to $88,620 per year depending upon previous relevant experience.
Actual starting pay rate will be determined after a review of the work experience provided on the job application and resume.
Status / Schedule : Full-time status; schedule based on a typical 8 hour work day
