Summary
The Program Manager II manages the pre-award and post-award grant and contract administration. This position maintains post-award grants and contracts activities as well as provides logistic support to faculty in need.
This position is responsible for maintaining and ordering of office operating expenses, faculty sponsored project ordering, invoice payments and travel reconciliations, RASU point of contact, new faculty recruitment and hiring, ASTMH event planning, weekly seminar catering, management of graduate assistants, development and maintenance of electronic newsletter, management of sponsored project database tracking.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
- Ability to manage workload and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail as well as multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in working with Excel. Required Education and / or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience. OR
- High School Diploma with 7 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Public Health (MPH) Degree
- Experience working with CAYUSE, GRANTS.GOV Compensation Information This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 25.
