Benefits Operations Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Benefits Operations Analyst to join our team!

As a Benefits Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive investigations to resolve payment discrepancies, overseeing client billing processes, collaborating with carriers to address billing issues, reviewing and analyzing reports from carriers, and proactively identifying and resolving benefits enrollment errors.

Contract Length : 3-4 months

Location : Hybrid in Miami, FL (On-Site : Tues-Thurs)

Compensation : $25-$27 / hr (and weekly pay!)

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough investigations and implement effective solutions to resolve payment discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing and payment protocols.
• Take charge of client billing processes, including invoice generation, payment tracking, and meticulous account reconciliation.
• Foster collaborative relationships with carriers to promptly address and resolve billing issues, ensuring smooth invoicing and payment processes.
• Utilize research methodologies to identify and resolve discrepancies within billing and payment records, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Analyze reports received from carriers to evaluate benefits eligibility and enrollment data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and rectify benefits enrollment errors, employing a proactive approach to maintain precise data for billing and reporting purposes.
• Apply root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying factors contributing to eligibility discrepancies, enabling the implementation of corrective actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Possess 1-2 years of directly related experience, preferably in roles involving data analysis, information management, accounting, or finance dealing with substantial datasets.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, showcasing expertise in Pivot Tables and V-LookUps.
• Exhibit experience working with extensive datasets and adeptness in applying filters to extract relevant information accurately.
• Showcase competence in billing reconciliation, encompassing the identification of discrepancies and the skillful resolution of related issues.
• Display exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively interpret and analyze data, identifying patterns and rectifying errors.
• Possess excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external carriers.
• Demonstrate prior experience in working with billing and benefits data, reflecting a comprehensive understanding of benefits administration processes.

Candidate MUST Haves :

• Exhibit 1-2 years of directly related experience in data analysis, information management, accounting, or finance roles involving substantial datasets.
• Display advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in Pivot Tables and V-LookUps.
• Possess analytical expertise to effectively analyze and interpret complex datasets, ensuring accurate and informed decision-making.
• Showcase client-facing experience, emphasizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess knowledge of billing and benefits data, including a comprehensive understanding of benefits administration processes.
