The Correctional Officerprovides for the security, care and direct supervision ofinmates / residents in housing units, at meals, during recreation, onwork assignments and during all other phases of activity in acorrectional facility.
You may have to employ weapons orforce to maintain discipline and order. Veterans areencouraged to apply.
- You are responsible for maintaining order and securityof inmates in a correctionalfacility.
- You must be able to work any shift, as you may beassigned to a variety of posts including, but not limited to,armory / key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation,etc.

You may be a fit for this role ifyou :
- Have a high school diploma, GED certification orequivalent.
- We train you to be successful : Paid training, and whereapplicable, be a non-commissioned security officer licensed by thestate of employment (we pay the cost foryou).
- Have a valid driver'slicense.
- Can demonstrate the ability to complete any requiredtraining.
- Are available to work any hours, anyshift.
- Are at least 21 years ofage.
