Fusion HCR is hiring! Contract to hire Network Admin based in Phoenix AZ.

Job Description :

As a Network Admin, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our clients' network infrastructure. This hybrid role requires a blend of technical skills, including experience with firewall management, LAN technologies, wireless networking, and Cisco systems.

The ideal candidate will have a CCNA certification and 3-5 years of experience in network administration, with a strong focus on route and switch configurations and new site deployments.

Additionally, this role involves occasional travel within the Greater Phoenix area to support our clients' diverse networking needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform firewall configuration and management, including making changes on Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Provide support for LAN technologies, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
  • Deploy and maintain wireless networking solutions, with an understanding of Aruba technology preferred.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to design and implement network solutions tailored to specific business requirements.
  • Assist with new site builds, including network infrastructure setup and configuration.
  • Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with best practices and security standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • CCNA certification or equivalent industry certification required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in network administration or engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of firewall management principles, with experience working with Palo Alto firewalls preferred.
  • Proficiency in LAN technologies, including VLANs, routing protocols, and subnetting.
  • Experience with wireless networking technologies, with knowledge of Aruba systems a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel within the Greater Phoenix area as needed.
