Overview
CTG is seeking an experienced JavaScript Developer to design and build scalable, high-performance applications for an enterprise client.
Location : Onsite in FL, NY, or AZ
Duration : Ongoing contract
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain Node.js–based applications and distributed systems
Build event-driven, real-time services using WebSockets, WebRTC, and messaging platforms
Design and support microservices architectures with horizontal scaling
Perform advanced debugging, profiling, and performance optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
Required Qualifications :
5+ years of professional JavaScript development experience
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript internals (V8, GC, async loop, closures, prototypes)
Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Streams, NATS, Pulsar)
Strong understanding of networking, HTTP / 2, concurrency, and distributed systems
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
