Position Summary...

What you'll do...

At Walmart, the impact of sound, resilient, and repeatable information security practices is critical to day-to-day business operations and helps to ensure the security of the Walmart digital ecosystem through seamless integrated trust.

We're looking for someone to support our security and compliance assessments by leading our continuous compliance capabilities for the Infosec Compliance team.

In this role, you will collaborate across teams in Platform, Cloud, Application, and Infosec to codify requirements that ensure compliance with industry frameworks.

What you'll do :

Hold deep technical discussions with our engineering teams to understand controls, processes, and come up with creative ways to meet the intent of security requirements.

This would require an understanding of technical regulations, common technologies, and systems

Write code and requirements for compliance tools, utilizing cloud

What you'll bring :

  • 6+ years of experience working in the security regulatory / compliance field
  • Expertise in security practices of the payment industry and in other security regulations (PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27000, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of security risks and threats, and in developing effective and measurable mitigation programs
  • Strong SQL (writing complex queries) and code development capabilities to codify requirements within products.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 3years’ experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Option 2 : 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Preferred Qualifications...

Certification in Security+, GISF, GSEC, CISA, CISSP, or CCSP, Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 1 year’s experience leading information security or cybersecurity projectsCISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor - Certification, CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Certification
