We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in invoices, and maintaining efficient payment processes. This position will require you to work onsite five days a week.

Responsibilities :

• Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and proper coding.
• Conduct regular check runs to facilitate timely payments.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and updates in accounting systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth accounts payable operations.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
• Utilize accounting software to manage and track payment activities.
• Prepare reports and summaries related to accounts payable for management review.
• Support the integration and proper utilization of systems such as Intacct and ServiceTitan.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address any payment-related issues.
• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in invoice coding and processing.
• Familiarity with conducting check runs and managing payment cycles.
• Knowledge of accounting software, particularly Intacct and ServiceTitan.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication abilities for vendor and team interactions.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in Houston, Texas.
• Commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in all financial processes.
