GENERAL SUMMARY
The Web Developer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Pechanga Resort Casino’s internet and intranet sites, including the development of custom web applications that support business initiatives. This role partners closely with IT, Marketing, and other departments to deliver functional, secure, and visually appealing digital experiences aligned with PRC’s brand and operational goals.
FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to customer service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, maintain, and test web-based applications and websites under the guidance of departmental leadership.
- Administer and update content across PRC’s internet and intranet sites using modern web technologies and content management processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve site performance and user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related technologies in a non-WYSIWYG environment.
- Support and integrate APIs and third-party systems into PRC’s websites, ensuring seamless data and service connectivity.
- Research and apply emerging web development trends and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and usability of web platforms.
- Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and implementation.
- Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, and cross-functional team initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, departmental SOPs, and web development best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Accountability : This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position is also responsible for protecting the assets of Pechanga Resort Casino and for maintaining and providing a positive and professional work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / TRAINING : An associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. At least two (2) years’ experience is required to successfully perform this job; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS : This position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : This position requires the ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY : This position requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
