Description & Requirements As a Developer - Web Applications, you'll drive the design, development, and implementation of intuitive user interfaces for web applications and SharePoint solutions. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders to transform complex requirements into responsive, user-friendly interfaces-leveraging modern JavaScript frameworks, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and front-end best practices. This is a remote position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Develop, test, debug, implement, and document basic software programs. - Assist in the research and analysis of existing systems and program requirements. - Assist in resolving routine production support problems. - Conduct routine quality assurance activities such as peer reviews. -Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web-based applications using HTML, CSS, and popular JavaScript frameworks like React and Next.js -Create and customize SharePoint sites, pages, and web parts using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) -Develop responsive layouts and implement modern UI / UX design principles for both standalone applications and SharePoint environments -Work closely with technical end users to understand requirements and resolve front-end issues -Customize SharePoint themes, master pages, and page layouts to meet organizational branding requirements -Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end development best practices -Document code and maintain technical specifications for web applications Job-Specific Minimum Requirements : -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience -Strong foundation in web development frameworks and tooling -Experience with SharePoint Online, including site creation and customization -Understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks / libraries (React, Vue, or Angular) -Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git) -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail -Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment -Portfolio demonstrating front-end development projects (academic or personal projects acceptable) Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in related field. - Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree. -Experience with SharePoint Designer and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) -Knowledge of SharePoint REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API -Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consume them -Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) -Familiarity with Agile development methodologies #techjobs #veteranspage EEO Statement Maximus is an equal opportunity employer.
