Investor Relations - Senior Finance Manager Are you looking to join a high-performing global team?Join our Investor Relations Team! The Investor Relations ("IR") team is a strategic asset at Baker Hughes, responsible for developing and managing relationships with the investment community on a global basis. The role of the IR department is to provide a clear and consistent message to current and prospective shareholders through a variety of channels, including quarterly earnings, conferences, roadshows and meetings. The function of IR is to provide equal access to all shareholders or potential investors to information that Baker Hughes chooses to make publicly available. The team works closely with executive management and keeps them apprised of Street views, trends and results that affect the company and / or our stock.Partner with the bestThe Investor Relations Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of Baker Hughes' investor relation activities and will interact frequently with both external and internal audiences, including shareholders, investment & research analysts, senior management and employees. The Senior Manager will work closely with various departments and corporate leadership to continue to build the company's reputation and value as an energy technology company. The Senior Manager will report to the Vice President of Investor our new Investor Relations Manager you will : Help analyze quarterly performance and convey critical information to senior management in their interactions with shareholders and analystsUnderstand market trends, opinions, and reactions to Baker Hughes and competitors and provide strategic insights that will help inform senior management investment, operating, and financial decisionsTrack analyst reports to rigorously assess Baker Hughes's positioning in the investor, technology, and industrial communitiesDraft important investor messages and Q&A that will be used by Baker Hughes senior leaders when discussing matters externallyUse a common framework for communicating the strategic, financial, and operational goals associated with our activitiesSupport the BOD meetings with analysis and information on company performance, shareholder structure, competitive intelligence, investor perception and ESGWork with business unit leaders and commercial representatives to stay abreast of business fundamentals, commercial updates, business development matters, and current events across the CompanySupport the development and execution of the overall IR & Analyst RelationsDevelop and manage relationships with institutional investors and sell-side analyst around the worldManage participation in investor conferences, roadshows, bus tours, on-site meetings, annual shareholder meetings, and analyst daysTrack all interactions in an online database (IR Insight)Help respond to investor inquiries in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.Business Analysis & ManagementManage the quarterly earnings process, including preparation of the press release, slides, earnings' call script, Q&A document and other materials while collaborating with executives, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury and Corporate CommunicationsManage IR processes, including quarterly shareholder analysis, updates to executives on Wall St reactions, distribution of analyst reports on Baker Hughes and its peers, competitor analyses, and press release approvalsAnalyze & understand quarterly financial results and overall business performanceCommunicationsManage and improve the Investor Relations internal and external websites with the most relevant and clear informationDevelop strong working relationships with executives and teams across the companyRegular communications with buy- and sell-side analystsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will have : Bachelor's degree for an accredited universityA minimum of 5 years of experience with financial markets and financial modelingin oil & gas and / or industrial industriesExceptional attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple projectsHigh level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential informationAbility to generate successful and positive working relationships at multiple levels and maintain them during peak deliverable periodsSelf-starter with ability to plan, manage and organize own activities to achieve deadlines and contribute to the effectiveness of the IR teamStrong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skillsWillingness to travel to meet with investors and attend conferencesMust have strong technical writing skillsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
