Compass Intervention Center has been providing psychiatric services to the Memphis area for more than -years. Compass Intervention Center is located in Southwest Tennessee. This convenient location provides access to larger communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We work with children and families throughout the United States, including military families overseas.
Compass Intervention Center is a free-standing residential treatment center open to male and female children and adolescents from ages to . , , and are available to male and female adolescents ages to .
Compass offers a full continuum of care for psychiatric treatment of adolescents and is the only facility in the State of Tennessee that offers every level of care to adolescents.
Created to serve adolescents between the ages of and years old, the Acute Adolescent Program offers treatment for psychiatric and emotional problems.

The Billing Specialist is responsible for completing financial assessments of the patient's ability to pay, collecting deposits, negotiating payment arrangements, securing financing of self-pay liability, and identifying funding sources. Also is responsible for submitting of electronic and manual billings account statements and for follow-up with third-party payers for claims resolution.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Provides benefit education to patients, parents, and guarantors.
- Accurately prepares cash deposits daily and submits them timely to AP for cash posting.
- Regularly follows up with responsible party on incomplete documentation.
- Requests upfront collections of self-pay deposits from patients both inpatient and outpatient.
