Position Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Biller and Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in EMR systems, and experience with clearinghouse processes. This role is critical in ensuring accurate coding, timely billing, and optimal reimbursement for vascular services.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review and assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for vascular and endovascular procedures.
- Submit and track claims through electronic clearinghouses including Waystar and PayerPath, ensuring prompt resolution of denials and rejections.
- Utilize HST and Allscripts EMR systems to extract and validate clinical documentation for coding accuracy.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to resolve coding discrepancies and maintain compliance.
- Conduct audits and generate billing / coding reports to identify trends and areas of improvement.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and payer-specific guidelines and regulations.
- Remain current with vascular coding guidelines, industry changes, and payer updates.
