Information Technology Technician - SeasonalDepartment: Information TechnologyReports To: IT Manager / IT SupervisorPosition Type: SeasonalAbout the Job: The Seasonal Information Technology Technician helps keep park technology running smoothly by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting computer systems, network devices, software applications, and technology equipment throughout the park. This role combines technical problem-solving, guest and employee support, hands-on equipment maintenance, and flexibility to respond quickly to operational needs. Seasonal IT Technicians work closely with departments across the park to ensure technology systems remain reliable, secure, and ready to support daily operations.Why Work at Worlds of Fun?Free park admissionTeam member ride nights and special eventsScheduling that works with youOn-the-job paid training providedGain unique, valuable hands-on IT experienceWork with a variety of technology systems and equipmentWhat You'll DoProvide technical support for computers, printers, mobile devices, point-of-sale systems, and related equipment throughout the park.Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices.Assist with network infrastructure support including switches, wireless access points, and communication devices.Respond to support requests and technology-related issues in a timely and professional manner.Set up and deploy new technology equipment for seasonal and special event operations.Assist with user account management, password resets, and access requests.Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, repairs, and service requests.Support park operations technology including ticketing, admissions, cash handling, and office systems.Provides guest service according to Worlds of Fun standards when serving guests or working with associates, including answering questions and providing assistance.Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas and performs all duties in compliance with Worlds of Fun Safety guidelines and requirements.Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.Meets Worlds of Fun attendance requirements as outlined in company attendance policies.Adheres to company Rules of Conduct, including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park-specific policies and procedures.Other duties may be assigned.What We're Looking ForMinimum age: 18High School Diploma or GED requiredCoursework, certification, or experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field preferred.Must have a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information to users with varying levels of computer knowledge.Ability to organize workload, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 applications, and mobile devices.Ability to read and follow technical documentation, procedures, and equipment manuals.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for equipment installation and support activities.Requires ability to operate:Desktop and laptop computersPrinters and peripheral devicesHand tools used for computer and network installationsCompany vehiclesLaddersTelephones and mobile devicesHand-held two-way radiosFriendly attitude and strong customer service skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive company information.Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to stay organized and multitask.Positive work ethic and reliable attendance.Strong teamwork skills and professional behavior.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.Other DutiesAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support park operations.Ready to Apply?Apply online at EnchantedParks/JobsEnchanted Parks is a Smoke-Free, Drug-Free Equal Opportunity Employer.
