Job descriptionReview and analyze FOIA requests Prepare FOIA request folders and enter data into tracking databases Draft response letters and correspondence Negotiate and communicate with requesters, agencies, and contractors Coordinate document searches and identify duplicates Review records for responsiveness and exemptions At least three years of experience processing FOIA requests Knowledge of FOIA rules and exemptions (b(4), b(5), b(6)) Experience redacting sensitive information Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to obtain a security clearance Federal government experience Experience with FOIA tools like FOIA EXPRESS and SecureRelease Active security clearance
